When you pay out-of-pocket (or work with an out-of-network provider), you work with your counselor to determine the best counseling course, content, frequency, and intensity. Details of your mental health information are subject to a higher degree of privacy.  If you pay entirely out of pocket, your information never leaves the office (except on rare occasions when required by law).  Your clinical information will remain private and confidential from your insurance company, except for the information that you provided, which is that you are accessing services, if you choose to seek reimbursement through a superbill.  If you already have an insurance plan we are paneled with, PCC LLC is required to go through your insurance carrier first, unless you request out-of-pocket payment, at which point you could not request a superbill reimbursement.
