It is essential to acknowledge and address the mental health impacts of climate change to support those affected and build resilience in our communities.

Dr. Peterson's counseling aims to provide support and guidance to those struggling with the mental health impacts of climate change.  Climate change counseling services are designed to help individuals address these impacts and build resilience in the face of a changing climate. Dr. Peterson is trained to provide compassionate and practical support to those struggling with the mental health effects of climate change. His research is in preparing counselors to address climate change within counseling and uses this knowledge to help individuals address the grief and loss, anxiety, or dread, that occurs when people are impacted by climate change.
