Anna and Greg provide professional mental health counseling services for a wide range of people and issues. We do our best to schedule your first session as soon as possible. Whether your session is in person or online, there are a few things that you can do to maximize your experience in counseling.

What to Expect with your first Session
Your first session will be an intake session where Anna or Greg will review your intake paperwork, review terms of service for engaging in counseling, provide an assessment and diagnosis, and discuss how they engage in counseling. This sounds like a lot to cover, but most of the time will be spent talking about how come you are seeking counseling at this time.

Common Reasons for Seeking Counseling
Clients come to counseling for all kinds of reasons. Whether it is depression, anxiety, a traumatic experience, or a life transition, Anna and Greg are fully equipped and trained to help you achieve your goals in counseling.

How to make the most of your Counseling
Clients find it counseling to be most helpful when they come prepared for sessions with a topic to discuss and work on in counseling. Anna and Greg can make any topic helpful in counseling, and if you come prepared with one or two things to discuss, take notes on your time together and think of this as one hour a week which can change how you act throughout the week, you will find that your counseling experience can dramatically change how you feel, act, and move through the world.
